Powered by Reposit in partnership with Climate Action Lanarkshire who are part of the network of community climate action hubs across Scotland. Working to support groups and communities in Lanarkshire to be able to take climate action.

On Coatbridge campus, the machine is located on the Ground floor, behind reception.

It’s a vending machine in reverse!
You insert your empty cup or bottle, the machine scans it & you get a reward voucher.

Your coffee cups get professionally washed on site, and your bottles and scans get recycled.

The £1 is a deposit to encourage returns.
When you return your cup, you get your £1 back as a voucher.

Insert your item into the Reverse Vending Machine, follow the on-screen instructions, and your voucher will be printed.

Yes — you can return most plastic bottles, aluminium cans, and Reposit bottles through the machine.

They’re professionally washed on-site and put back into circulation so they can be reused again and again

No, the reusable bottle is yours to keep and refill.
But if you do decide to return it, you’ll receive 5p.
