Marks & Spencer
Our Impact in Action:
We partnered with Marks and Spencer to deliver a returnable packaging platform for their Refilled homecare line.
Now available in 23 stores across the UK.
We have co-developed a returnable system with Marks and Spencer’s for their own-brand home care, from concept through to launch in May 2022, offering M&S’ customers a fully reusable, sustainable home care offering.
There were initially 8 products available, including cleaning sprays, laundry detergents, fabric conditioners and washing up liquids in our Reposit aluminium bottles. This was introduced with our Reposit smart return points, where customers can scan the QR code on their bottle to return, and receive £2 off voucher for their next purchase.
Started with 8 products in 6 stores…
and a ‘high-tech’ return point.
At the end of 2023, we introduced the ‘low-tech’, more scalable option, now at 23 stores nationwide with two additional products.
We introduced the ‘low-tech return points’ - allowing customers to return the packaging through our Reposit web app. Customers scan the QR code on the panel of the return point, and then the QR code on the bottle, in order to get the reward via email.
After a successful 3 months trial, this was rolled out to 17 additional stores, with a total of 10 products across the M&S homecare range.
Currently, customers can find the product across 23 M&S stores nationwide and we will be scaling up to more stores in the near future.
