M&S Returns Process
This page will show you how to maintain the return point successfully and return the empty packaging through the backhaul system so that items can come back to Reposit’s washing facility to be washed and reused. If you have any questions relating to the return point please contact your (store) manager.
Store staff check crate fill level daily by opening the front doors of the return point. Stores should always have at least 3 crates at any given time.
If crate is full, staff member takes the full crate out of the return point, replacing it with an empty crate from back of store.
Once crates are full, a collection request must be made with EP (EuroPackaging) by email at mandshelpdesk@epuk.co or phone at 01217647110 letting them know a collection is needed & how many crates are to be collected.
EP will send a collection note template over email (if calling, they will ask for a contact email address). The template will ask for store code, store name, date of collection, number of crates being returned.
The collection note must be completed, printed out, and attached to the crates being returned so that each crate can be assigned to the correct sotres. Please note that unmarked crates may not be collected.
EP will advise that a collection has been schedules and when it will take place. Staff should place the labelled crates in the inbound area ready for EP collection.
EP will collect the crates directly from stores and replace with the same number of empty crates. If the store would like additional empty crates, this should be specified with EP when requesting collection.
