Our first ever customer and demonstrator!
Upon understanding that blue glass jars that packs Beauty Kitchen products are not easily recyclable, our founder Jo was determined to make sure that the packaging waste are handled responsibly. She decided to wash and reuse the packaging to reduce unnecessary waste and energy from recycling, when the packaging is still in a very good quality.
By placing products like moisturisers and creams in glass jars and body washes in aluminium bottle, these packaging can be returned by customers when empty. Customers can easily drop off their empty packaging at any Holland & Barrett store in the UK, or go to Beauty Kitchen website to send them back through post. Customers are then offered discount on their next purchase. It drives customer retention and keeps our planets limited resources flowing in continuous cycles.
